When students are clearer if the issue they would like to continue, the next step is finding a suitable dissertation research supervisor or mentor. There are a number of important considerations. Your research supervisor should be informed about the subject you want to work and even better, has written about the subject or is considered an expert on the subject on which you intend to study. To be able to 2-3 themes suggested by the expertise and research experience of a prospective research supervisor tune will help many students are able to recruit quality advice and guidance. This can be done by asking faculty members for suggestions on finding a potential mentor or you can also publish lists of faculty research in your department or another department. Usually faculty publication lists published online on the department website. Also ask around and facts about the supervision of a prospective research supervisor's style is equally important. It can be assumed that the students are in class or worked with in one way or another,

Dissertation is that you can customize
The pages section under the Navigation Menu area of Dissertation Site Options, as mentioned before, lists every page on your site, even those, for one reason or another, you chose to be private and invisible to your visitors. The ones that are "checked" will show up in your drop down menu, and the ones that are "unchecked", wont. The real beauty of this section in Dissertation is that you can customize what displays on your CSS horizontal drop down menu simply by typing in what you want to display. Well, that's great, but it doesn't solve your order problem. Well, all you have to do is grab the page with your mouse and place it anywhere you want. Couldn't be simpler. Grab your earrings page and move it anywhere above your bracelets page and hit the Big Green Save Button. Your CSS horizontal drop down menu now displays your pages in the desired order.

Necessary in a long paper
You do not need a long introductory section. Many Dissertation wander around for a few pages before the main point. Do not do this. If you have an introduction (necessary in a long paper), it needs a review of the paper itself, not a treatise about other "background"issues, nor a record of everything you looked when you start to research the topic.

How to write and finish your UK Dissertation
During my PhD work, I read statistics that approximately 85% of PhD students who have achieved ABD status never finish their dissertations. ABD stands for "All but dissertation." These are students who have finished all course requirements and passed their PhD oral exams. Knowing this statistic, I went to visit one of my professors after I completed my PhD orals. I wished him a question.
The question I asked was: "What do I need to know to write and finish my dissertation?" I knew he was a street-smart scholar, besides being a prolific author, outstanding teacher and brilliant scholar. I knew he would have practical wisdom for me.
